Lcdo. Juan J. Hernández

Lcdo. Juan J. Hernández López de Victoria

Principal

Attorney Hernández earned his Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Magna Cum Laude, from the University of Puerto Rico in 1986. He later obtained his Juris Doctor, also Magna Cum Laude, from the University of Puerto Rico School of Law in 1994. During that time, he served as a law clerk to the Hon. Justice Federico Hernández Denton while he was an Associate Justice of the Puerto Rico Supreme Court.

In 1995, he established his solo practice, focusing on commercial litigation, construction law, and controlled development law. In 1997, he earned an LL.M. from Columbia University in New York, with an emphasis on international litigation and arbitration. He subsequently worked as a litigation associate at McConnell Valdés, and in 1998 re established his private practice until 2001, when he became a founding member of the insurance and construction law firm Rosa Silva, Rosa Domenech & Hernández López de Victoria, C.S.P. Since 2003, he has maintained a corporate, litigation, and appellate practice at Hernández López de Victoria, P.S.C., and he currently serves as principal at Art. 12, LLC d/b/a Invenio Law.

For more than twenty years, Attorney Hernández has served as an adjunct professor of contract law—initially at the Interamerican University School of Law and, for the past two decades, at the University of Puerto Rico School of Law.

Attorney Hernández is admitted to practice before the courts of the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, the United States District Court for the District of Puerto Rico, the United States Court of International Trade, the United States Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit, and the United States Court of Appeals for the First Circuit.

Lcda. Yosmarie Colón González

Associate Attorney

Attorney Colón-González earned her Bachelor of Science in Natural Sciences with a concentration in Nutrition and Dietetics, along with a second concentration in Human Resources, from the University of Puerto Rico, Río Piedras Campus. She later completed her Juris Doctor Magna Cum Laude at the Interamerican University of Puerto Rico, School of Law.

During her years at the School of Law, she served as an editor of the Revista Jurídica for volume 57 and as associate director of volume 58. In addition, she worked as a teaching and research assistant for Professor Esther Vicente, collaborating in the courses of Constitutional Law and Successions. She completed clinical tutoring at the Department of State, as well as in the Rule 6 Clinic.

Before practicing as an attorney, she worked as a paralegal, collaborating in the areas of successions, condominium law, and medical malpractice.

As part of her academic training, she participated in an exchange program at the University of Bologna in Italy, where she took the course Comparative Public International Law, and at the Pontifical Catholic University of Rio de Janeiro in Brazil, where she completed the course Law, Violence, and Gender. These experiences strengthened her comparative perspective of the law and her commitment to the defense of human rights.

She is admitted to practice before the courts of the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico. She is presently engaged in inheritance matters, condominium law, community property and general commercial litigation.

Lcdo. Oscar J. Bezares-Lamboy

Associate Attorney

He litigates complex civil and commercial matters before the courts of Puerto Rico and in appellate forums, including the United States Court of Appeals for the First Circuit in Boston. His practice includes cases involving condominiums, contracts and commercial claims, collection of monies, successions, and commercial leases.

Attorney Bezares Lamboy earned his bachelor’s degree in Political Science and his Juris Doctor from the University of Puerto Rico, Río Piedras Campus. During his legal studies, he served as Digital Editor of the Revista Jurídica of the University of Puerto Rico and as Associate Director of the Business Law Journal.

Before joining Invenio Law in 2023, he began his career at a notarial law firm, where he handled a high volume of real estate transactions.

He is admitted to practice before the Supreme Court of Puerto Rico, the United States District Court for the District of Puerto Rico, and the United States Court of Appeals for the First Circuit in Boston. He approved the Puerto Rico Bar Examination within the top 10% of his class.

Lcda. María E. Rosa Domenech

Associate Attorney

Attorney María Eugenia Rosa Domenech graduated Magna Cum Laude from the Interamerican University of Puerto Rico School of Law and holds a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and Psychology from Boston University.

She has more than thirty years of experience in the practice of law, focusing her work on civil, commercial, construction, and notarial litigation. From 2016 to 2019, she practiced in the private sector, providing representation in complex civil and commercial matters. In 2019, she joined the Legal Office of Student Affairs at the Interamerican University of Puerto Rico, where she provided legal counsel and representation to the university community.

Previously, she was a shareholder at Rosa Silva & Rosa Domenech, P.S.C., and a partner at Rosa Silva, Rosa Domenech & Hernández López de Victoria, P.S.C., concentrating her practice in surety, construction, and commercial litigation.

 

She is admitted to practice before the courts of the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, the United States District Court for the District of Puerto Rico, and the United States Court of Appeals for the First Circuit.
